Narborough Parish Council
The Parish Council meets monthly in the Church Room, All Saints Church, on a Monday, typically excluding August and December. If a meeting date falls on a Bank Holiday, it will be held on the Wednesday.
Annual Parish Meeting
This is not a Council meeting. It is a meeting of the parish electors and must take place between 1st March and 1st June. Electors can contribute to the agenda and in practice these meetings often celebrate local activities and debate current issues in the community. The Chairman of the Council, any two Councillors or any six Electors can call the Annual Parish Meeting. It is best practice to hold the Annual Meeting of the Council and the Annual Parish Meeting on different occasions to avoid confusion.
Annual Meeting
As Councillors are elected in May their first meeting is the Annual Meeting of the Council. This is where a Chairman and Vice Chairman are elected and Committee Members and Representatives to other bodies are appointed. This is a meeting of the Council.
